WHY DO I NEED A FAMILY DOCTOR?
The answer to this is far-reaching, but one example is cardiovascular screening. Women often see their ob/gyn for only targeted “well woman exams”, and men often skip the doctor altogether, or seek specialist care for routine issues. This has led to fragmentation of healthcare. At Concierge Family Medicine, we have a comprehensive approach to your health care.

There are many reasons, but statistically speaking, regular screening increases your lifespan. By delving into your complete history, performing a thorough exam, and checking specific labs, we screen you for illnesses which have no obvious symptoms and become harder to treat over time. If we control such illnesses early, we can often prevent complications.

HOW MUCH IS YOUR FEE?
We are happily accepting a limited number of patients. Please call us at 512-454-4849 to schedule a complimentary “get acquainted” visit, even if you’re just testing the waters.
Our all-inclusive annual fee is all we charge and there are no additional lab fees, visit fees, or other hidden costs. We accept most credit cards.
New patients enroll for a full year. Concierge Family Medicine membership expires one year from the date of enrollment, at which time you will be invited to renew for another year.

HOW OFTEN CAN I COME IN?
Included in your annual fee are unlimited office visits. We encourage our patients to come in early and often, rather than waiting until they’re very ill.

WHAT’S INVOLVED IN THE PHYSICAL EXAM?
Our physical exam is very thorough, requiring up to an hour and a half. It includes a comprehensive review of your full medical, personal, and family history, as well as the exam itself, a battery of lab work, and other advanced testing.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT CFM?
Most importantly, it’s about time. Not only do we run consistently on time, which is important for our patients, but every visit is an unhurried experience, during which our patients have the luxury of time to thoroughly discuss their issues. This also allows us time to explain the “why” in our treatment choices, further educating and empowering our patients. It’s about time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO SEE A SPECIALIST?
When we uncover serious medical issues that necessitate specialist care, we will help expedite the referral process, often calling our specialist colleague the same day, and facilitating the earliest possible specialist appointment date. We will also review specialist records with you, if you wish.
