MD2 in Seattle was the first medical practice ever based on the concierge concept. It is very exclusive with an annual fee of more than $10,000 per patient

MDVIP (Multi-State)
MDVIP is a nationwide "chain" of dozens of concierge clinics. Their annual fee is about $2,500 per patient.
Although there is no MDVIP clinic in Austin, but it is interesting nonetheless to compare our CFM to MDVIP:
- Both CFM and MDVIP are staffed by excellent physicians who are sincerely dedicated to doing what's best for their patients.
- CFM is "home-owned and hope-operated" by our Austin doctors. We set our own standards of service and care.
- Because CFM does not have to underwrite the expense of a national corporate administration and marketing structure, we are able to charge an annual fee significantly lower than that charged by MDVIP.
- In addition to MDVIP's annual $2,500 "access fee", they also bill the patient's insurance for most services they provide, then keep whatever they are able to collect from insurance in addition to their "access fee."
Here at CFM our annual fee is all we charge. We give our patients the completed insurance claim form and allow them to receive whatever their insurance pays.
